My name is Dr. Thyagaraju G S,<\/strong> and I am currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SDM Institute of Technology, Ujire, Karnataka<\/strong>. I have over 25 years of rich experience<\/strong> in teaching, research, and administration, with a strong foundation in computer science. My academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science<\/strong> from Visvesvaraya Technological University, focusing on ‘Context Aware Computing<\/strong>‘ an M.Tech in Computer Science<\/strong> and Technology from the University of Mysore and M.Sc in Physics<\/strong> from the Kuvempu University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a deep interest in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing,<\/strong> and the Theory of Mind.<\/strong> Over the years, I have actively contributing to academia through various roles, including Teaching and guiding projects in AI and ML<\/strong>, delivering workshops, and developing educational programs. I have also published extensively, with 46 international journal articles<\/strong>, numerous conference papers<\/strong>, and three books, including Programming in C<\/strong>, Python Programming<\/strong> and another on Context Aware Computing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to my academic achievements, I have led several funded student projects<\/strong> and guided one<\/strong> Ph.D. scholar<\/strong> successfully and guiding two PhD Scholars<\/strong> on advanced topics such as IoT-based disease detection and machine learning algorithms for agriculture<\/strong>. I am also serving as a reviewer for esteemed journals like Elsevier’s Applied Soft Computing<\/em> <\/strong>and Artificial Intelligence<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My teaching portfolio includes courses on Python Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization<\/strong>. Beyond teaching and research, I am passionate about staying updated with emerging technologies and sharing knowledge<\/strong> through workshops and FDPs<\/strong>. With a career built on lifelong learning and innovation, I aim to inspire and equip future engineers<\/strong> to excel in a dynamic technological landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
